Little Wealth, Inner Peace

Proverbs 15:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 15 in context

Scripture Focus

16Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.
Proverbs 15:16

Biblical Context

It teaches that small, simple provision is preferable when one lives in reverent awareness of the LORD. Wealth that comes with fear or trouble is not true blessing.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the verse as a mirror of your inner life. The 'little' is not lack but a steady, undistracted consciousness in touch with the I AM—the LORD within. When you live in reverent awareness, the mind is free from craving or fear of loss; wealth and trouble appear only as your inner weather reflects those vibrations. If you imagine yourself already safe, provided, and sustained by the indwelling Presence, you will see the outer world align with that inner conviction. The fear of the LORD is not terror but alignment: a surrender to the truth that you are eternally cared for by consciousness itself. Wealth then ceases to be a possession you chase and becomes a by-product of being at one with the Source. The great treasure and its accompanying trouble strip you to the core—your inner state. Answer with quiet certainty: I AM with me; I am provided. Practice this assumption daily, feel it as real, and observe how your life arises from that inner alignment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state, 'I am provided by the I AM.' Feel the calm certainty for a minute, then revise any sense of lack into sufficiency, dwelling in inner alignment.
