Fountain Of Wise Law

Proverbs 13:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 13 in context

Scripture Focus

14The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Proverbs 13:14

Biblical Context

The wise law is a fountain of life. It guides you away from the snares of death.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the law of the wise is not a distant commandment but the living state of awareness—your I AM. The fountain of life flows when you rest in that I AM and imagine the good as already true. To depart from the snares of death is to release fear, doubt, and limitation by a single assumption: that you are kept by the wisdom already present in your being. When you act from that assumption, events align as if the inner law were external to you; but in truth, the world reflects your inner state. The verse invites you to drink from the inner spring by choosing thoughts and feelings that certify life rather than death. Practice turning every problem into a question of what the wiser self is choosing and perceiving. The life you seek flows from within, and the 'death' of limitation dissolves as you dwell in the awareness of the fountain.

Practice This Now

Assume right now that you are governed by the inner law of wisdom; feel the living flow of life in your body and imagine the circumstances you desire as already real.
