Read Proverbs 13 in context

Scripture Focus

13Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Proverbs 13:13-14

Biblical Context

Despising the inner Word leads to destruction, while honoring the inner commandment brings reward. The wise law is a fountain of life that frees you from the snares of death.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the Word is the decree of I AM vibrating in your consciousness. When you despise it, you deny your divine nature and life contracts into fear and scarcity. To fear the commandment is to honor the law etched into your being; by treating it as sacred you align with its life-giving current, and your thoughts, feelings, and actions reflect that alignment. The law of the wise becomes a fountain of life when you live from that inner principle, and the snares of death dissolve as fear gives way to confident, creative perception. You are not at the mercy of circumstance but the operator of your own inner law; your imagination, rightly used, fashions reality that mirrors your faithful adherence to the Word.

Practice This Now

Assume the state that the Word is honored now; revise a fear by declaring, 'I align with the life-law within me,' and feel it real as the fountain of life flows through me.
