Biblical Context
A virtuous wife adds honor and strength to the marriage; a wife who shames her husband damages his sense of worth.
Neville's Inner Vision
Proverbs 12:4 speaks not of a marital status but of a inner state. A virtuous woman is the crown the I AM places upon the husband of your consciousness—your unity of life, your wholeness. When you dwell in that consciousness, harmony becomes visible as authority, dignity, and ease within your day. Conversely, the one who makes ashamed is the memory of separation, the belief that you are less than your true Self—rottenness in the bones of the old self. Neville would urge you to accept the crown now by revision: imagine the I AM and your inner masculine and feminine facets joyfully aligned, each in its proper place, each supporting the other. See yourself crowned with virtue, with words and deeds flowing from that interior status. The husband here is the inner principle of unity; when you honor it, the outer world reflects this crown in ease, trust, and fidelity to your highest image. Do not chase results; awaken to the reality that you are already crowned by virtue, and let that inner royal state animate your days.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, imagine yourself crowned with virtue; repeatedly say I am the crown of virtue within my life, feeling the I AM align your thoughts, words, and deeds. Hold the feeling until it feels real.
