Rooted In Righteousness
Proverbs 12:3-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
These verses declare that true establishment does not come from wickedness, but from the root of righteousness. They describe how inner thoughts, speech, and character determine whether a life stands or falls.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the verses point to one fact: you are not governed by outward deeds but by the state you occupy. The man who leans on wickedness cannot be established, for the root of the righteous is the I AM aware of itself and unmoved by appearances. When you claim that root, you become a tree planted by living consciousness, and the house of your life—its thoughts, its speech, and its loyalties—stands firm. The thoughts of the righteous are right because they spring from the awareness of truth within; the counsels of the wicked lose traction in the inner court of your mind. The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright delivers, for your inner mouth determines external outcomes. The wicked are overthrown, and are not; but the house of the righteous stands because the root remains unmoved. Begin with the acknowledgment that you are the root, the source of your life. Your imagination is the builder and judge; let it render a life consistent with that root.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling: I am the root of the righteous, unmoved by appearances. Visualize deep roots sinking into my being and a house standing firm as storms pass.
