Diligence leads to rule. Sloth leads to subjection.
Neville's Inner Vision
Proverbs 12:24 appears as a map of consciousness. The hand of the diligent is the hand that moves with purpose within the mind, and that inner movement governs the outer, not by force but by alignment with the I AM that you are. When I dwell in the conviction that I rule my inner world, I am training the laws of imagination to respond with decisive form. The word bear rule is the image of the mind ordering its own kingdom, setting intention and keeping faith with it. If I allow sloth to linger, I loosen the grip of attention and surrender energy to old fears and delayed outcomes; life then pays tribute to limitation rather than to my true nature. The kingdom of God is not coming from outside but waking inside to my continual choice. Therefore I tend the garden of my inner life with diligence: revise stubborn thoughts, assume the success I desire, and feel the reality of that ruling now. In this way, the diligent hand becomes the living I AM ruling its world.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes for five minutes, assume you already rule your inner life, and silently affirm I am the ruler of my inner life while feeling the certainty of outcomes aligning.
