Biblical Context
The verse says the good receive the Lord's favor, while the one who schemes wickedly will be condemned.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your life is the dream of your inner state. The 'good man' is a moment of consciousness that feels held by the I AM. When you rest there, the favor of the LORD flows as a natural atmosphere—opportunities, harmony, and guidance are seen not as outside gifts but as your inner climate made visible. The one who 'condemns' imagines separation from blessing and, in that self-judgment, condemns his own experience. God does not condemn; the inner judge you entertain condemns you. The practice is to reverse: assume the truth that you are already blessed, feel it as real now, and let the sense of being loved govern your choices. Name your fears and revise them into statements of sufficiency and worth. With continued imagination, the outer world will reflect your inner mood, aligning with grace rather than struggle. This verse invites you to inhabit the I AM as your real Self, and through that inner alignment, life answers in favor and mercy.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume 'I am the favored of the LORD' and feel that blessing flowing through you. Let condemning thoughts melt as you revise them into 'I am loved and protected now.'
