Scripture Focus

19The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
Proverbs 12:19

Biblical Context

Truth endures forever, while a lying tongue is temporary; the verse points to inner alignment as the source of enduring speech and reality.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the Neville mind, 'The lip of truth shall be established for ever' means a fixed state of consciousness in which truth governs your experience. The lip is the I AM expressing itself as reality, and to establish it you must choose truth as your ruling assumption. The 'lying tongue' is the ephemeral voice of fear and separation—a momentary movement that dissolves the moment you refuse to entertain it. When you know truth as your permanent ground, appearances that seemed solid dissolve into light, for the outer world mirrors the inner conviction you hold. The law of imagination declares you are not a passive observer, but the cause by which life unfolds. Therefore, keep your heart and mind fixed in the conviction that truth is established, and the world will follow the established reality of your inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, affirm truth is established in me now and forever, and feel it as a present fact. When doubt arises, revise it with only truth is real in my life until the feeling of permanence remains.
