End Of Wicked Hope Within

Proverbs 11:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 11 in context

Scripture Focus

7When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
Proverbs 11:7

Biblical Context

When a wicked man dies, his expectation perishes. Likewise, the hope of unjust men is cut off.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner world, death is the end of a false forecast. Proverbs 11:7 points to the fragility of hope grounded in ill-will and external outcomes. Here, the I AM, your true self, does not fear such extinction. If you cling to a consciousness that seeks control through injustice or coercion, your inner expectations collapse as if dead. Yet you can choose a different script: identify with a higher state of being, the benevolent, just I AM, and let your imagination revise the scene. When you imagine yourself acting from integrity and feeling the wish fulfilled, the outer world begins to shift in harmony with that inner alignment. The verse teaches that lasting hope is not built on the demise of others but on the revival of your own state of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and declare: I AM the I AM; I choose a higher inner state. Then, in vivid detail, imagine a future where justice, prosperity and peace flow from that inner state, and feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled now.
