Strength for the Upright: Inner Way

Proverbs 10:29 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 10 in context

Scripture Focus

29The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
Proverbs 10:29

Biblical Context

The way of the LORD is strength for the upright. Destruction awaits the workers of iniquity.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you, the 'way of the LORD' is not a distant road but a state of consciousness you inhabit. The upright is the steady I AM that refuses to entertain separation or fear. When you embrace this truth, strength wells up as your natural experience—images in the mind reflected in the world, not by force but by alignment. The 'workers of iniquity' are habits of thought that suppose themselves apart from life; cling to them and your inner life collapses, and destruction follows. Yet as you persist in the awareness that you and the divine I AM are one, you revise every false assumption, you feel the reality you desire, and the outer world becomes a faithful record of inner power. This is the law: dwell in the LORD and you dwell in strength; entertain fear and you invite ruin. Choose the inner path now, and the outer walk becomes strength.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise any sense of weakness by affirming, 'I AM the way,' feeling the unity with the I AM until strength is felt as your natural state. Walk that inner path in imagination and let it show up in your world.
