Treasures gained by wickedness profit nothing. Righteousness delivers from death.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the inner economy, the treasures of wickedness are states of consciousness—greed, fear, and the illusion of separation from the I AM. The verse whispers that such treasures profit nothing because they exist in a dream of scarcity. Righteousness, by contrast, is alignment with your true Self, the I AM in you, and delivers you from death—the fear death and the sense of separation that gnaws at life. When you acknowledge you are the righteousness in action, you awaken a living current that money cannot buy. Imagination becomes your instrument, not external gain. As you dwell in the feeling of your I AM as already real, you draw forth provision in harmony with inner integrity. The deliverance is not escape from the world, but the breaking of the illusion that lack governs you. Wealth flows as an expression of your right state, and fear gives way to confident fullness. Thus the verse invites a revision: identify with the One within, and the outer world rearranges itself to reflect that reality.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit in stillness and assume the state I am righteousness in action. Feel the I AM delivering you from death here and now, and revise any lack as already resolved.
