Every command in Philippians 4:4-7 is a move of consciousness. Rejoice in the Lord alway means dwell in the unshakable I AM that you ARE, the Lord within you who never departs. Let your moderation be known unto all men, for your inner balance reveals the quiet authority by which your life vibrates; the Lord is at hand—awareness is near, ready to respond to faith. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God: do not feed on fear; present your needs to the I AM with gratitude, knowing that your requests are already included in the one life you are. The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus: as you rest in the reality that you are the embodiment of divine consciousness, peace guards your feelings and thoughts. Christ Jesus is the inherent self you awaken into; through that Christ you govern every state. So this verse invites a daily revision: assume you are already there, and let that feeling saturate your being.
