Philippians 4:21-22

Biblical Context

Paul greets every saint in Christ Jesus, and those with him greet you; all the saints salute you, including those in Caesar's household, illustrating unity across inner and outer circles.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the text, you do not read about persons distant in time, but about states of your own awareness. Saluting every saint in Christ Jesus is you acknowledging and welcoming every facet of your inner being as cherished expression of the One I AM. The brethren with me are the other faces of your consciousness standing with you, and their greeting to another alludes to the seamless communion you cultivate when you refuse to separate your own mind from its divine counterpart. All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household, signifies that even the world’s outward apparatus—the Caesar mind of discipline, career, ego—are still within your kingdom when seen through the Christ in you. By insisting on the unity of the saints across the inner-and-outer, you fix your attention on the truth that your imagination creates your state; your awareness refuses to be fragmented. When you live as though you are greeted by every facet of yourself, you empower a transformation: the inner greetings become your outer reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and, in the theater of your mind, greet each saint within and the ‘Caesar’ mind as a beloved part of you; feel their greeting as approval of your oneness, and rest in the certainty of that unity.
