Glory to God Within

Philippians 4:20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Philippians 4 in context

Scripture Focus

20Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:20

Biblical Context

The verse names a prayer of praise, giving glory to God the Father for all time. It seals that praise with a simple Amen.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine the verse as a statement of your own inner posture. 'God and our Father' is not a distant person but the I AM within you, the awakened throne of being. When you claim glory, you are not admiring something outside; you are recognizing that the living God within you is the fountain and the light that never ends. The 'forever and ever' is the habit of keeping this awareness on, resisting the pull of lack, and letting every moment be a praise from within. Do not seek to cajole external signs; begin in your inner room and bless the Father with the consciousness of completion, sufficiency, and grace. Your world will follow the inner vibration. The act of glorifying God is the act of turning your attention to the eternal you, and that attention is powerful enough to transform how you feel, what you expect, and what you experience. You are the vessel through which the Father’s glory shines.

Practice This Now

Assume you are the I AM within, and softly declare, 'I am the glory of God forever.' Then close your eyes, feel the heart-centered light, and let that awareness color every moment.
