Inner Abundance Mastery

Philippians 4:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Philippians 4 in context

Scripture Focus

12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Philippians 4:12

Biblical Context

Paul declares he has learned to be content in any situation, whether in abundance or in need; peace comes from an inner state, not external fortune.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this brief line Paul reveals a secret of the I AM: abundance and lack are two pictures your mind can hold, not two separate worlds. When you are abased or abound, your true life remains the inner state of awareness that you are the I AM, the unwavering sense of fullness. Your circumstances are mere effects produced by your inner conviction. To walk as Paul walked is to revise your entire sense of self into the one who is eternally supplied by the divine within. Practice shifting your attention from fluctuating outward conditions to the continuous act of consciousness that makes them real. When you feel lack, imagine the inner door opening to endless supply; when you feel full, anchor that feeling and know it is your natural state. In every moment, you are instructed by the inner I AM, and you are not moved by appearances.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and rest in the I AM; quietly repeat, 'I am full and supplied now,' until the feeling of fullness floods your attention and remains as your new baseline.
