Neville's Inner Vision
Let me rewrite this as the law of your consciousness: the Philippians letter is a map of your inner state. Your 'brethren' are your own awakened self; standing fast in the Lord is choosing to abide in the awareness that you are the I AM. The call to be of the same mind is a call to harmonize inner attitudes, to quiet the inner squabbles and align with the one living presence within you. When you 'pray and supplicate with thanksgiving,' you are not begging something outside you; you are re-choosing your inner state—seeing through the appearance into the reality that your requests are already answered in the one Life. The 'peace of God, which passeth all understanding' is the stabilization of your mind when you insist that the Lord is at hand, not afar off. So use your imagination: enter the scene as the one who already possesses peace, and let your being 'feel it real' until the senses confirm your inner decree.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume you are already the Lord within; quietly repeat 'I AM' and 'I am at peace now,' and feel the peace guarding your heart and mind for a few breaths.
