Be Found In Him: Righteousness By Faith

Philippians 3:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Philippians 3 in context

Scripture Focus

9And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Philippians 3:9

Biblical Context

Be found in Christ, not by your own righteousness from the law. The true righteousness comes from God and is received by faith.

Neville's Inner Vision

To be found in him is to awaken the inner 'I AM' that Christ represents in you. The 'righteousness which is of the law' is the mind clinging to outward performance; it keeps your sense of self tethered to rules and fear. But 'the righteousness which is of God by faith' is a product of your present awareness, a state you assume and dwell in. Faith here is not merely belief but trust in your divine image—the part of you that, in imagination, already lives in union with God. When you assume you are already righteous, you align your inner disposition with the Christ ideal; you become the intensity of that righteousness by feeling its reality now, not later. The verse tells you to stop comparing yourself by external standards and to enter the consciousness where God has already declared you righteous by faith. This is salvation as an inner awakening, a conversion of identification from egoic striving to the I AM within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are already in Him. Feel God's righteousness as your own now, and dwell in that inner state until it feels true.
