Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul expresses a longing to know Christ intimately, to access the power of his resurrection, and to share in his sufferings. He seeks to be conformed to his death, with the hope of attaining the resurrection of the dead.
Neville's Inner Vision
To know him is to know the I AM that you are in the moment you think and feel. The power of his resurrection is not a distant event but the awakening of consciousness to your true life here and now. The fellowship of his sufferings is the inner movement that lets go of worn identities, a willing surrender that purifies desire and intention. Being made conformable unto his death is not punishment but the gentle death of an old self, a letting go of limitation through the discipline of awareness. And the resurrection of the dead is the declaration that your present state, your whole being, is already renewed in consciousness. This is not history but your inner weather: you enter it by imaging, feeling, and dwelling in the state you seek, until it becomes your living reality. The verse invites you to practice the certainty that your inner self is one with the risen life, and that through inner alignment you awaken your world to this truth. Trust the imagination as the instrument by which you enter the new day of consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, I know him now; I am one with the power of his risen life. Sit with that feeling until it saturates your present awareness and gently let go old limitations.
