Biblical Context
Paul urges believers to rejoice in the Lord and to keep the reminder clear for their safety. He declares true identity as the circumcision that worships in the Spirit, not relying on flesh.
Neville's Inner Vision
Rejoice in the Lord is not a mood to chase in the outer world but a state to awaken within your consciousness. The verse invites you to see that the true identity is the circumcision of inner awareness - worshipping God in the Spirit rather than counting on fleshly credentials. The dogs and evil workers are inner doubts and habit patterns that would praise appearances; beware not of people, but of that inner tendency to lean on the flesh. When you assume the feeling, I am the circumcision, worshiping God in the Spirit, you align your entire life with the I AM. Rejoicing becomes the felt sense that your source is not an object but the awareness that unites all you call self. As you persist, the outer world adjusts to this inner stance: fears loosen, doors open, and progress appears from within. Do not trust fleshly credentials; trust the Spirit that already dwells in you and through you, honoring your true self in Christ Jesus. Your confidence is thus eternally secure, here and now in quiet consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state, saying inside, I am the circumcision, worshiping God in the Spirit. Feel that identity as real now, and let concerns about the flesh dissolve into Spirit.
