One Mind in Christ Now

Philippians 2:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Philippians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

1If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Philippians 2:1-2

Biblical Context

Philippians 2:1-2 invites believers to be of one mind by embracing consolation in Christ, love, and Spirit fellowship, so that joy is fulfilled through unity.

Neville's Inner Vision

Paul is not urging you to perform a new duty, but to awaken to a state of consciousness already present. If there is consolation in Christ, let your awareness register it as real here and now. If there is comfort of love, permit the warmth of that love to rise within your I AM and flood your being. The 'fellowship of the Spirit' is the felt companionship of awareness moving within you; 'bowels and mercies' are the soft, compassionate motions that respond when you honor the unity already within. To fulfill Paul's joy is to align your inner dispositions until they beat as one heart—one love, one accord, one mind. The unity he seeks is the unity of Christ's mind in you, a state you may assume by feeling it real and dwelling there until it becomes your lived experience. When you harbor this inner unity, your outer world reflects it and you walk in a peace that flows from the I AM that is within you and in all.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, recall the verse, and assume you are already in one mind with others; feel the warmth of that unity until it becomes your felt reality.
