Neville's Inner Vision
This line invites us to read life as a state of consciousness in which space can be made for what is desired. To 'prepare lodging' is to clear a mental room where the new state can dwell. The phrase 'I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you' becomes a confident trust in the inner act of prayer—imagination and feeling—that aligns your heart with fulfillment. In Neville's terms, the I AM, God within, is always present and responds to the most precise inner assumption. Prayers are not begging outside of you but intentional shifts of awareness: you imagine the end, feel it as already completed, and dwell there until it becomes your external experience. The verse teaches presence—that hope and future spring from the present inner posture. By keeping the mind fixed on the fulfilled scene and letting gratitude saturate awareness, you invite circumstances to arrange themselves to mirror your state. Thus, the observer and the observed merge: your inner faith creates the outer reality.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and imagine the room is prepared and you are welcomed. Feel the gratitude now as if it has already happened.
