Biblical Context
Numbers 7:84-88 describes the altar's dedication with silver and gold vessels and animals, set apart for holy service. It marks a formal moment of covenant and worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
I see that Numbers 7:84-88 is not a distant ritual but a map of the inner life. The princes of Israel are the inner governors who choose what I consecrate; the twelve chargers and bowls are fixed stations of attention I maintain; the gold spoons filled with incense are my imaginal prayers, sending fragrance into the field of awareness. The repeated number twelve signals wholeness, a completed cycle of devotion turning into a constant inner altar. The anointing marks my awakening to I AM, the presence that remains when appearances drop away. The burnt offerings and peace offerings mirror the movements of desire and gratitude, consumed by the living reality that I am. When I imagine this dedication as real now, I am not recalling a ceremony; I am revising my state of consciousness to harmonize with God within.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner altar is dedicated now; feel the steady energy of attention and reverence, and declare I AM until the feeling is real.
