Biblical Context
Moses and Eleazar faithfully carried out the command given by the LORD through Moses. Their action embodies faithful obedience to divine instruction.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the eye of history this verse records a legal obedience; to the eye of your consciousness it is a map of interior discipline. The LORD commanded Moses means that within you there is a word, a living directive in your I AM that asks for alignment, not compulsion. When you accept that command as yours, you become the Moses who speaks to the people of your mind and the Eleazar who stands at your inner altar, priest of your own covenant. The moment you hear that inner command and say, 'Yes, I will align my thought, feeling, and action with this word,' you shift your entire world. Obedience is not obedience to an outside authority, it is the steady agreement of your consciousness with a higher truth you have assumed as already true. This is why the verse ends with their doing as commanded: you demonstrate your inner alignment by outward consistency. If you cultivate this inner covenant—feeling it as done, already established—the outer life follows the same order, and you live the law as your own reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are living in complete obedience to the inner command. Revise any doubt until you feel it real as already done.
