God directs Moses to bring the tribe of Levi near Aaron so they may minister to him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Numbers 3:5–6 reveals not a genealogical plan but a conversion of meaning: the Levites are the steadfast faculties of mind—attention, loyalty, purity—drawn into the circle of the inner priest, Aaron, who represents the I AM within. When I imagine these faculties being brought near to the higher self and asked to minister to it, I am rehearsing the essential order of consciousness: present your inner instruments to the throne of awareness and let them serve. The ministry is inner alignment, not ritual spectacle; the lower thoughts and feelings exist to be arranged by the prime image I carry of myself. By assuming that this inner assembly stands in service to the inner priest, I feel a shift: a quiet, sovereign calm that governs my experience. Imagination becomes a workshop in which I train my mind to support the I AM, and the world reflects the order I allow in my heart. The outer life aligns as the inward temple is set in its rightful place, with the I AM sovereign over all.
Practice This Now
Assume now that the Levites are near to the inner priest in your mind and feel the higher self receiving their service; dwell in that state for a few breaths, then carry that quiet authority into your next moment.
