Inner Redemption Treasury
Numbers 3:49-51 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Numbers 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses collects the redemption money from those redeemed by the Levites and gives it to Aaron and his sons, as commanded by the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within me, Numbers is not a ledger but a map of consciousness. The redemption money is energy I choose to redeem and reallocate. The Levites are the trained faculties—my inner guards—who redeem the firstborn, my core awareness, from mere surface reaction to abiding. Moses is the organizer within, taking the energy and handing it to Aaron and his sons, the priestly functions of awareness that minister to my temple. This transfer, commanded by the LORD within, is how I align my life with inner order. When I reflect on the 'over and above them that were redeemed', I realize I am asked to invest where my true power resides and to obey the inner word as it guides my attention. Obedience and faithfulness are not external rites but habitual acts of conscious attention: I choose to redeem energy and to feed the inner altar with it. Thus the outward scene becomes a mirror: a redeemed consciousness, a temple sustained by the inner wage paid to the priesthood.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you are Moses counting the inner currency; transfer that energy to Aaron and his sons within you—the I AM priesthood—and feel obedience restoring balance in your temple.
