Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The text lists the sixth-day offerings and their quantities, tying ritual to the pattern of daily worship. It points to an ongoing process of holiness through precise acts.
Neville's Inner Vision
Read as Neville might, these numbers are not inventory but states of consciousness. On the sixth day your inner temple is prepared for culmination, and eight bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs symbolize fixed patterns you have repeated in thought until they are ready for change. The meat and drink offerings are the intelligent nourishment you give to your new state, tailored to the degree of your belief in that state. The one goat for a sin offering marks the release of a culpable identity you have harbored—an old 'I' that believes it lacks something essential. Beside the continual burnt offering, and its meat and drink offerings, you are asked to live out the new consciousness without interruption, to let your attention be steady on the I AM. The command 'shall be according to their number, after the manner' invites you to measure your life by this inner pattern: what you assume, what you revise, what you feel to be real becomes your reality. This is true worship: separation from the old self and faithful union with the divine within.
Practice This Now
Imitate the pattern: close your eyes and assume the state of holiness, the I AM aware and complete. Picture releasing a limiting belief as the goat for sin, and feel the continual offering nourishing your new self.
