Within the Bible's plain narrative lies a workshop of consciousness. Joshua, a man in whom is the Spirit, is the inner faculty in you that stands ready to govern your life. Moses' laying on of hands is not a historical gesture but the symbolic recognition of your assumption—your decision to invest your consciousness with a particular state and to act from that state. The Lord’s word to Moses is the Divine I AM acknowledging that the next governor of your world already exists as a state of awareness. When you consent to that inner Joshua, you stop seeking power outside and begin to trust the Spirit within to lead every situation, to fulfill prophecy and promise by your inner faithfulness and obedience. Practice becoming aware of the state you want: imagine yourself already in the role, feel the authority, and allow it to reorder your responses and choices.
