Viewed through Neville Goddard’s lens, the plague is not an outer epidemic but a movement of inner belief. The twenty-four thousand who died become a symbol of the dominant thoughts and emotions you have entertained until they seemed to govern your life. You are the I AM, the awareness that creates and sustains your reality; the world you see is the dream you have whispered into being. When fear or despair is assumed as real, it appears as a collective calamity in your inner theatre and in your outer circumstances. The remedy is not to deny disease but to revise the state you inhabit. Choose a new assumption: that you are already whole, protected, and forever capable of renewal. Feel that certainty in your gut, and dwell there until it feels natural. In that moment, the plague loses its grip, the number loses its authority, and the scene begins to shift to reflect your revised awareness.
