Inner Dominion From Jacob

Numbers 24:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Numbers 24 in context

Scripture Focus

19Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.
Numbers 24:19

Biblical Context

Jacob represents inner awareness; from that state, dominion arises and overcomes the remaining city of limitation.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jacob is the inner consensus of awareness—the I AM that watches forms without fear. Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion: the dominion is not conquest of people but a shift in consciousness, a kingly state that asserts itself over the city of sense-perceptions. When you dwell in the waking I AM, the last remnants of the old city begin to crumble, because you are now ruling from the only sovereign seat that matters: your own mind. The 'destroy him that remaineth of the city' refers to old habits and thoughts that pretend to govern you. If you insist on the felt reality of the state you desire, you compel events to adjust to your inner law. The kingdom of God becomes practical: you imagine from the end, revise the scene that contradicts your kingship, and allow the desired state to feel real until it is your lived experience. You are the dominion; you are the ruler who creates the world by the posture of awareness you maintain.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, feel the I AM as king of your inner city; revise a lingering scene by declaring the dominion is now established and feel the victory as real.
