Numbers 22:2-3

Biblical Context

Balak sees Israel’s strength and Moab grows afraid because the people are many.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the scene is not merely a political worry, but a drama of consciousness. Balak’s fear is the inner state that imagines itself cornered by a presence greater than itself. Israel, the vast multitude, represents a living presence of Truth and power already inside, growing as awareness expands. When Balak proclaims fear, he reveals a mind identified with lack, with separation from the One Power I AM. The inner Israel is not the army marching in opposite lands; it is the realization that the I AM within is richer than any grievance, more numerous than any doubt. The Moabite dread is the old, resistant self clinging to scarcity while the inner light—God’s Presence—advances. As soon as one interiorly recognizes that God and I ARE one, the sense of threat dissolves; the many become abundance, not menace. The verse invites you to shift from fear of a crowd to trust in the I AM that fills, multiplies, and governs all.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM is the sole presence within you now; revise any fear as, 'I AM abundant Presence dissolving this issue.' Breathe and feel the truth of I AM with your next inhale.
