Israel conquers Bashan and defeats Og; the LORD promises protection and victory. They drive out the inhabitants and claim the land.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this reading, the land is your inner state and the enemies are doubt and limitation. Og is the giant fear that rises when you set your heart on a new form of life, and the command Fear him not is the inner voice of the I AM, reminding you that you have already delivered what you seek into your hand. The act of sending spies is your inner self surveying the landscape of your mind, noting what has been forgotten and what remains to be claimed. When Moses is told deliver him into your hand, this is the moment you realize you have already prevailed on the inner level; the victory is completed in consciousness before it appears in the outer scene. The defeat of Og's army corresponds to your decision to displace every belief that says you cannot. By driving out the Amorites, you clear the terrain for the return of fullness—your land is the kingdom within where your desires can reside unhindered. This is the Kingdom of God in operation: a conscious act of possession governed by the I AM and fulfilled by imagination.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine you have already conquered Og and possess Bashan. Feel the I AM as your full awareness, declare that this land is yours now, and let the sensation of delivery sweep through you.
