Read Numbers 20 in context

Scripture Focus

24Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.
Numbers 20:24

Biblical Context

Aaron is told he will be gathered to his people and will not enter the land because the people rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

Neville's Inner Vision

Numbers 20:24 invites you to see Aaron’s exclusion as a sign in your own consciousness. Aaron is gathered unto his people, not by decree of fate but by the inner movement of your belief when you do not align with the Word within. The land promised to Israel is the inner land, the state of awareness you realize when you assent to God’s word as true now. The water of Meribah—the impulse to complain and to command from without—represents a moment of inner resistance to the living Word. When you identify with that resistance, you erect a boundary that keeps you from the land; when you revise that moment, you cross the threshold. The remedy is simple: assume the end in the present tense, feel the truth of I AM within you, and imagine yourself already dwelling in the land you seek. As you dwell there in imagination, Aaron’s banishment becomes a past event, confirming that you are the author of your experience. Your self-concept determines the geography of your inner country.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Assume the end in present tense: I AM in the land now. Sit quietly, repeat I am in the land, and feel the soil, the air, and the sense of home as if you already reside there.
