Think of Numbers 20:12-13 as a scene in your inner theater. Moses and Aaron are your habitual attitudes—doubt and control—standing at the edge of the promised land of your desire. Their 'not believing' is simply a moment when you forget that the I AM is present as you, and you fail to sanctify that Presence before the inner crowd. When you argue with lack, you 'strove with the LORD' and push away the very life you seek. Yet the clause 'he was sanctified in them' is a reminder that holiness enters consciousness when you align with the I AM, not when you comply with external forms. The water of Meribah represents the pressure point where you face the illusion of separation and still choose to affirm God's presence as your own. If you revise the scene—assume the I AM as already here, feel the certainty of provision, and declare, 'I AM sanctified in this moment'—you unlock the land within you. Trust is your gateway; belief is your action; consciousness is the true wilderness becoming the promised land.
