Inner Purity by Imagination
Numbers 19:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It presents a lasting rule about purification. The water of separation purifies when sprinkled, and anyone who touches it remains unclean until evening.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the inner theater, the water of separation is not water but a current of right assumption. When you sprinkle it upon your mind, you wash your clothes—your thoughts and beliefs—that have become soiled by old fears and judgments. The act of cleansing is not external, but the renewal of consciousness; the lingering rain of uncleanliness after touching the water denotes a temporary looseness of your attention, a fleeting state until the 'evening'—the close of the inner day—when you return to your I AM, your essential awareness. The statute is perpetual because consciousness is always in need of cleansing; you repeat the ritual by assumption until you feel the state.
Practice This Now
Sprinkle the water of separation over a current troubling thought and watch it be washed away by your assumption. Then revise the thought into its spiritual truth and feel it real.
