Devoted Within, Owned in Consciousness

Numbers 18:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Numbers 18 in context

Scripture Focus

14Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.
Numbers 18:14

Biblical Context

The verse states that everything devoted in Israel belongs to the priestly order. In Neville's approach, devotion refers to thoughts and energies you consecrate to the divine; when you claim that devotion in your consciousness, it becomes yours.

Neville's Inner Vision

Listen to the verse as a covert invitation to inner ownership. Your inner Israel is a state of consciousness where holiness is cultivated, a sanctified center from which attention and energy flow. When you devote any thought, feeling, or circumstance to the divine, you are simply declaring that level of awareness as your own. The word 'thine' becomes a symbol for the possession of that which you have made holy in your mind. If you cling to limitation or doubt, your devotion remains unsettled energy. If you bless and consecrate your thoughts, you pull that energy into your central I AM, and it manifests as steadiness, clarity, and provision in your life. This is not control through force, but alignment through faith in the inner covenant: holiness is not a distant law but a pattern of awareness you continuously assume. When you imagine and re-state yourself as the keeper of what you have set apart, you discover that separation yields a sense of ownership—precisely because you are now the one who holds the state of consciousness called 'devoted.'

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and suppose: I AM the owner of what I have consecrated in my mind. Rest in the feeling that the devoted things are already mine in consciousness.
