Biblical Context
The LORD declares to Aaron that he and his sons must bear the sanctuary's iniquity and priesthood; the tribe of Levi is to join them in service, while Aaron and his sons minister before the tabernacle of witness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Numbers 18:1-2 presents an inner decree: you and your inner Aaron, with your house, shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; your Levi friends join to minister before the tabernacle of witness. In Neville’s view, the sanctuary is your present state of consciousness, and the iniquity is any inner misalignment awaiting correction by your conscious choice. To bear it is to assume full responsibility from the I AM, not to condemn yourself, but to re-align your awareness until harmony rings through the temple. The Levi tribe symbolizes the companion faculties of devotion, order, and collaboration that stand with you to fulfill your inner vocation. Your true work—your inner priesthood—is to minister before the tabernacle of witness, to be present in awareness as the observer and governor of thoughts. When you acknowledge you are both temple and priest, you invite healing into life and dissolve the illusion of separation. By living as the I AM, you invite every portion of yourself to assist in service, making your consciousness a living sanctuary where God dwells.
Practice This Now
Assume the state: I am the I AM; I bear the inner sanctuary's iniquity and revise it into harmony. Then invite the Levi aspects to join and minister within you, before the tabernacle of witnessing presence.
