Numbers 17:6-7

Biblical Context

Moses gathered twelve rods, one from each prince, with Aaron’s rod among them. He laid them up before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.

Neville's Inner Vision

All twelve rods symbolize the many states of consciousness vying for form in you. Aaron’s rod among them signifies that a divine authority—the I AM within you—has been chosen as your governing state. When Moses lays these rods in the tabernacle of witness, it is your inner decision to place one reality, a fixed, loyal conviction, into the sanctuary of awareness. The act is not about wood but about alignment: you acknowledge that the present power of God operates through the state you cultivate in consciousness. When you assume and feel the reality of your I AM presence as already true, you set that state in the heart’s sanctuary; the other rods may still appear, but they no longer rule. Providence then follows the covenant you maintain with your inner God: loyalty to that which you truly are. So, the man or woman who rests in the felt sense of being endowed with divine authority will observe a continuity of guidance and favor, the outward world bending to the inner testimony.

Practice This Now

In quiet, assume your I AM presence as the single rod laid in the inner tabernacle. Feel it ruling your days as the true state, and declare, 'This is my reality now.'
