Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Korah gathers the whole congregation at the door of the tabernacle. The glory of the LORD appears and speaks, commanding separation so judgment may pass.
Neville's Inner Vision
Numbers 16:19-21 speaks not to a distant event but to your inner life. The crowd at the door represents the chorus of beliefs in your mind that bind you to a state you did not consciously choose. When the glory of the LORD appears to all, that is your I AM—the awareness that stands outside every conditioned thought—revealing your true state. The command, Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment, is the spiritual instruction to withdraw from the old mental unity and identify with a new being. The “consuming” is the natural consequence of clinging to a state that no longer serves your true self; it is judgment as awakening. By obeying in awareness—standing apart, yet not resisting—you're inviting the divine presence to move swiftly, dissolving the old thought-form and unveiling a unity with God within. This is not punishment but a narrowing of identification until only the I AM remains, a clear, intimate unity that changes the world you inhabit.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and assume the state of separation from the crowd of old beliefs; see the tabernacle door as your doorway to I AM awareness, and revise lingering thoughts by declaring, I am that I am, now unified with the divine presence.
