Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Numbers 16:1-2 shows Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and On gathering 250 princes to rise before Moses, a public display of rebellion. In Neville's view, this rebellion is a symbol of egoic self-exaltation arising within consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
From Neville’s vantage, Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and On are not only a historical intrigue but a state of consciousness rising within you. The Korahs are the prideful ego, the impulse to exalt a separate self and to judge life by applause. The two hundred fifty princes are the chorus of outer identities—the social roles and renown you think you must gain to be safe. Moses represents your inner I AM, the alignment with divine order, the disciplined center that keeps the heart quiet and the will steady. When this revolt appears, it reveals where you still identify with separation and fear of losing favor. The healing is not punishment but a revision of your interior assumption: you are already the one who obeys the inner law, not the voice of pride or public opinion. Practice assuming the state of the inner Moses, feeling that you are the authority who speaks and moves in harmony with the whole. In that revised state, the ‘conspiracy’ dissolves into a single, clear action of consciousness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit in quiet and assume the inner Moses—feel the I AM guiding you, and revise the urge for external approval into obedient action.
