Fringes of Consciousness
Numbers 15:37-39 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse commands fringes with a blue thread on garments to remind the people to keep the Lord's commandments. It warns against relying on one's own desires and senses.
Neville's Inner Vision
Do not imagine that the fringes are external ritual alone; see them as a symbol planted in your consciousness. The blue thread marks a state of awareness in which you remember and obey the inner commandments. The border of the garment becomes the edge of attention where you choose alignment with the I AM rather than the ego’s impulses. When you look upon the fringe in imagination, you are not observing a rule so much as re-sowing your mind with the truth that governs all experience. The command to remember all the commandments is an invitation to live from inner order, not to chase outward ceremony. If you are tempted to seek after your own heart and eyes, you are simply out of alignment with your true nature as awareness. Return to the one mind that is God and let the I AM enforce the interior law. The blue color stands for depth and fidelity; by calling it to mind you covenant again with cosmic order, and your life begins to mirror that inward covenant.
Practice This Now
Assume you already keep all the commandments. Close your eyes, picture the blue-fringed garment, and repeat softly: 'I am keeping the commandments in my consciousness,' until the feeling of alignment fills you.
