Uniform Inner Offerings

Numbers 15:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Numbers 15 in context

Scripture Focus

11Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.
12According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
Numbers 15:11-12

Biblical Context

The passage states that the ritual applies equally regardless of the animal, and the action is performed according to how many offerings you have prepared.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the page as revealing the law written in your own I AM. The form of the sacrifice—bullock, ram, lamb, or kid—is but the outer symbol; the inward law is uniform: you must meet each part of yourself with the same quality of attention, according to how many you are willing to imagine as prepared. The 'number' is the measure of your inner readiness, not a counting of animals. When you affirm that you will do to every one according to their number, you are declaring that every facet of your being will receive your conscious steadiness in the same degree. Thus, the I AM lays claim to all you are, and your willingness to feel it real becomes the altar. Atonement is simply your alignment with your true self, not an external ritual. As you assume this inner state—calm, grateful, complete—you find that the outward circumstances begin to harmonize with that inner uniformity. The mind, not the blood, is the offering; the entire self is invited to partake of the same grace.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit and close your eyes; declare, 'I, the I AM, offer the same attention to every part of me.' Then, feel a steady, uniform sensation of peace as if each facet of your being were already fully offered.
