Inner Commandment Revelation
Numbers 14:41 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Numbers 14 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses questions their transgression against the LORD's command, signaling that disobedience does not prosper. It is a call to align with the inner Law.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, the LORD’s command is not an external edict but the living I AM within you — your constant tendency of consciousness. When you ask, Wherefore now do ye transgress? you are noticing a doubt or fear that contradicts the inner decree. Transgression is simply the moment you entertain a thought opposite to the inner law and insist on a separate, imagined outcome. The promise it shall not prosper is the natural law at work in your psyche: any belief that you are apart from your divine I AM shows you non-prosperity in forms of limitation, delay, or fear. The remedy is immediate and practical: assume you are aligned with the inner command and that the law is always working for your good. Do not fight the thought; revise it by affirming, I am obedient to the I AM within, and all that concerns me manifests as harmony. When imagination holds this alignment, the outward scene shifts to reflect inner certainty, and prosperity follows as the natural fruit of a corrected state of consciousness.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner decree now: say I am one with the I AM; I obey the inner command and feel that alignment fully, letting it reshape present circumstances.
