Neville's Inner Vision

Numbers 13:19 invites us to view the land we inhabit as a mirror of our present consciousness. The land’s quality—good or bad—is the feeling tone I cultivate about myself. The cities I dwell in—tents or strongholds—are the ways I fix or free my mind. If I see myself as a traveler without, I’ve mistaken the source; I am the I AM, the awareness that makes all landscapes appear. My work is not to conquer external geography but to revise my inner terrain until the dwelling feels harmonious with my desired state. I practice imagining I am already in a blessed land: I walk its streets, breathe its air, rest in a shelter that reflects strength of mind. The reality I seek is the reality I assume and feel-to-realize. When fear or limitation arises, I revise it with the feeling of the wish fulfilled, letting imagination render the city as I intend. The spies’ reports become mere chatter, for the inner vision governs the outer.
