Weeping at the Tent Door
Numbers 11:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The people cry in their tents, and the anger of the LORD is kindled. Moses also is displeased.
Neville's Inner Vision
On the surface, Moses hears the people's lament and the LORD's anger; within you, these are not two external forces but inner states vying for dominion. The tents are your beliefs; the weeping is a persistent thought that something is lacking; the great anger is the momentum of that thought when it refuses to yield to your image. Moses, the awakened I AM in you, does not quell the crowd by fighting it; he becomes the director of energy, displeased with discord and then choosing a different assumption. The moment you identify with the I AM as the only real power, the crowd dissolves. The divine anger burned only so long as you see yourself as divided between lack and the promise. When you insist that you are already the state you seek—calm, abundant, fulfilled—the energy rearranges itself to align without effort. Remember: God is not out there judging you; God is the I AM aware of your choice. Your inner decision creates the outer scene; the lament yields to a quiet confidence.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and revise the scene in your mind as the tent doors open to your fulfilled desire; feel the relief and certainty as if it is already real.
