Neville's Inner Vision

I hear the record as a rousing confirmation that the kingdoms and lands are not places out there but states of consciousness I now embody. The 'dividing into corners' is the art of organizing my faculties, granting each thought and feeling its own quadrant so that I may possess a coherent field of awareness. The multiplication of children as the stars of heaven points to the multitudinous possibilities waking within me as I stand in faith; the land promised to the fathers becomes the present field I know and walk in. To 'subdue before them the inhabitants' means I transform every habit, fear, or lack that would resist my inner domain, and I claim authority over my own thoughts and feelings. The victories of the land show that Providence is a present, not a distant decree — the I AM within me has already allotted kingdoms to my life. I align my imagination with that reality, and it manifests as my experience.
