Biblical Context
Nehemiah 7:69 lists camels and donkeys, signaling the people's material wealth and transport assets.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, this list is not a ledger of externals, but a mirror of consciousness. The camels and asses are the inner transport assets of your imagination, your mind's caravan carrying goods to any need you perceive. The I AM, your true self, does not measure wealth by outside numbers; it recognizes them as states of awareness you already possess. When you awaken to the feeling that provision is present now, you are counting the very beasts of abundance within you. The numbers are not out there to be found, but inner faculties and resources awakened by a decision of faith. Each animal represents a capacity—carrying memory, plan, time, energy—available to move projects from idea to manifestation. The verse invites you to steward wisely, to love neighbor by imagining their welfare as secured by your inner caravan. Revise your sense of lack, feel the end already accomplished, and the caravan will begin to move toward your goals with ease.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the feeling of abundance, and imagine you are steward of an inner caravan. See the camels and asses moving toward your desired goal, and let provision become your present reality.
