Inner Siege of Nehemiah 4:11

Nehemiah 4:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Nehemiah 4 in context

Scripture Focus

11And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease.
Nehemiah 4:11

Biblical Context

The adversaries plot to come in unseen, slay the workers, and stop the project. The fear of interruption is the inner force the verse exposes.

Neville's Inner Vision

When you read Nehemiah 4:11 through the I AM, you see that the 'adversaries' are not outside forces but states of consciousness that threaten to interrupt your vision. They declare they will slip in unseen, slay the workers, and stop the work, but this is only a drama played in your state of attention. Your awareness, the I AM, is the wall that cannot be breached by such stealth. The moment you take hold of the scene, you revise it. You do not fight the plot; you change the consciousness from which it arises. See the workers continue, the plan intact, the city rising while the noise of fear fades. The intention to cease is defeated by the certainty that your inner resource is inexhaustible and that you have already completed the vision in mind. Trust, not trepidation, is the safe harbor. Keep your gaze on the completed work and endure; the future you hope for is what your present inner state is becoming.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the scene until the unseen threat is neutralized and the workers continue. Feel the joy of the completed vision and softly affirm 'I AM' as the aware, governing presence.
