The prohibition against mating with the land’s people becomes a guard against inner contamination—refusing beliefs and habits that would dilute your state. The vow regarding the Sabbath and the neglect of outer commerce teaches rest of attention; keep sacred stillness rather than chase external gains. Leaving the seventh year and debt speaks to releasing attachments and claims from the past, letting old conditions dissolve. This is a blueprint for mental discipline: assume the law, live by it, and watch your outer world reconfigure to reflect your inward covenant.
