Biblical Context
Nahum 1:6 speaks of indignant, consuming power. In Neville's view, this power is the I AM within, and the outer rocks of circumstance yield to a steadfast inner state.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this verse the indignation and fierceness are not external judgments but the unyielding determination of consciousness to insist on truth. The God who can stand before it is the aware I AM, the one who refuses to identify with limitation. The fiery fury is the inner conviction that what is imagined and believed becomes seen; when you align with the I AM, the rocks of appearance crumble under it. The verse does not threaten the man of faith; it reveals the mechanics of creation: thought, feeling, and identification flow as one, and the outer world must respond to that inner reality. Practice: dwell only in the awareness that you are already the ruler of your experience. When fear or doubt arise, return to the I AM, feel its heat as clarity, and revise any lack into abundance; expect no sympathetic daydreams to stand against this inner decree. The rocks collapse because you have refused to serve the illusion.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM now and feel its steady, unshakable presence. Revise any sense of lack into abundance and watch the rocks of appearance crumble in your inner vision.
