Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Micah 7:18–19 presents God as one who pardons sin and does not dwell in anger, delighting in mercy. It also promises compassion, subdues iniquities, and casts sins away.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here, the speakers do not plead with a distant judge; they reveal the I AM at the center of your being. God is not an external ruler but the awareness by which you pardon yourself. To forgive iniquity is to shift identification from the fault to the true self that remains untouched by it. The remnant of heritage is your enduring self, not the errant thought; mercy is the living energy that dwells within you, delighting in restoration rather than punishment. When Micah says He will cast sins into the depths of the sea, he points you to the act of letting go—sending the misdeeds and fear to the sea-bed of your subconscious where they lose their grip. The promise to subdue is the inward quieting of the ego, a yielding to the I AM that dissolves the old story. Turn your attention inward; feel the mercy that forgives all and begins anew. Your world follows your state of consciousness; make the assumption that you are already free, and the sea will carry away what was judged.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume, 'I am the I AM, pardoning and free.' See your faults melt away as they are cast into the depths of the sea; dwell in the feeling of release.
